Statement of bible doctrine
And they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and fellowship Acts 2:24
We recognise the LORD Jesus Christ the son of the living GOD as saviour and the head of the church
In all matters of the doctrine and practice in obedience to the will of GOD we hold and adhere to under the direction of the Holy spirit, the commandments of GOD as declared by the holy bible, we believe that the bible is the Word of GOD and GODs perfect and supreme in Jesus Christ according to the witness of the New Testament which we consider as the supreme and sufficient rule of faith and conduct.
We believe in particular in:
THE HOLY BIBLE
The holy bible as the word of GOD given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit
One true immutable and living GOD, infinite, Eternal manifested in three persons, the father, the son and the Holy Spirit and the creation of all things by GOD for his wise purpose.
As the holy begotten of GOD his virgin birth, his real, and perfect manhood, the truth of his teaching the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world once for all, his death on the cross, his bodily resurrection from the dead, his ascension to heaven, his present ministry of intercession and his coming again in power and glory for judgement.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
By whose illumination conviction and regeneration men are brought to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
REGENERATION OF MAN
The fall of man and consequent sinfulness, guilt and condemnation of all men, the free and perfect justification, of all who believe in our lord Jesus Christ and their regeneration by the power of the Holy spirit into adoption as children of GOD.
The continuous work of sanctification by the Holy spirit in lives of believers and their divine preservation into everlasting life and his direction of the worship, ministry and administration of the church.
BAPTISM OF THE HOLYSPIRIT
The baptism of the holy spirit as well as the continuous infilling of the self-same of the Holy spirit.
The resurrection of the body and the final judgement of all men, the eternal perfection and the blessedness of the saved and the eternal punishment of all lost.
Marriage as a holy and honourable estate instituted by GOD for companionship between man and woman and for procreation of children which may be dissolved only by death.
Monogamy as the ideal state of family life according to the New Testament and accordingly we affirm our adherence thereto. No polygamist shall be allowed to be a church worker or officer.
