Pulling Down Strongholds

Welcome to the second half of the year.

A stronghold is a warfare language used by Paul. When you talk of strongholds, you talk of fortress. God taught His children many ways to fight because;

Life is not a playground, life is a battleground. You don’t need to apply, it will naturally come.

Especially when you have given your life to Christ. Jesus represents light. Everywhere light is, darkness would want to contend with it. But thank God that darkness cannot comprehend light.

Jesus represents peace. The whole world is in chaos, confusion, and commotion.

Many people in the world are still struggling with Jesus. Many forces against Jesus. Life is about warfare. Life is a battleground. It is worse for the man who doesn’t have Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior.

The kind of battle that Paul refers to in 2 Corinthians is the battle of the mind. Every victory and every defeat are won in the mind.

Strongholds are satanic blockages and bus-stops that prevent us from making progress. They are habit patterns that stop us from walking in divine nature.

Strongholds are stronger than our own power such as the stone that covered Lazarus, like Pharaoh.

Strongholds can manifest in form of disfavor, sicknesses, or mediocrity. Strongholds can manifest in our thought patterns. Strongholds are everything that’s contrary to the knowledge of God. Everything contrary to the truth.

Psalms 126:1-3 [When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and out tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, the LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.]
