The Language God Understands

Prayer:
Lord Jesus I invite you afresh. Come into my heart. Wherever Jesus is, there is power.
Come into my heart, come in today, come in to stay, come into my heart Lord Jesus.

Come and take your place, O Lord. In my life – come and take your place. In my heart – come and take your place.

Anywhere Jesus is, nothing else takes over. Speak and declare that nothing else will take His place – declare that he should come and take his place, nothing else can take his place. Jesus come and take your place. When Jesus and barrenness cannot be in the same place, poverty cannot be with Jesus, sickness must give way, for he is the all in all. We open our hearts, we open our houses, we open our lives. Come and take your place. As your word comes, let it accomplish much, there shall be no disconnection between the word and your people. Everyone is going back blessed, delivered, healed, with great understanding and taking the right steps today that will lead to greater power, greater understanding, greater blessing  – showcasing your glory.

So shall it be in Jesus name – Amen.

A gun is harmless if there are no bullets in its cartridge. A lot of Christians are empty – carrying spiritual guns with no bullets, spiritual weapons that are not sharpened, dull. Jesus will soon come. None of us will be a victim, for this reason, we must rise up and stand.

After our January prayers, God has revealed that it’s TIME FOR ACTION.

God is still in the business of rescuing lives. He is a loving God – He is a good God. He is never late. There are languages God understands. One of the language God understands is the language of worship. When you worship, He personally leaves His throne and comes down and when God steps down, there are miracles.

2 Kings 7:1-8 – [Elisha replied, “Hear the word of the Lord. This is what the Lord says: About this time tomorrow, a seah of the finest flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.” The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God, “Look, even if the Lord should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?” “You will see it with your own eyes,” answered Elisha, “but you will not eat any of it!” Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, “Why stay here until we die? If we say, ‘We’ll go into the city’—the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.” At dusk they got up and went to the camp of the Arameans. When they reached the edge of the camp, no one was there, for the Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to attack us!” So they got up and fled in the dusk and abandoned their tents and their horses and donkeys. They left the camp as it was and ran for their lives. The men who had leprosy reached the edge of the camp, entered one of the tents and ate and drank. Then they took silver, gold and clothes, and went off and hid them. They returned and entered another tent and took some things from it and hid them also.]

In the year 2017, you have everything. God has provisioned everything for you – food, drink, clothes etc. God can never be stranded. He has more than enough for you.

But how do you speak the language God will understand in this year? How do you advance from your present level to the next? How do you enjoy all that God has planned and prepared for you?

From our text:

[Elisha replied, “Hear the word of the Lord. A man of God made a declaration over a dead situation. When the man of God spoke, heaven responded that it was going to be. Unfortunately a man doubted and voiced his doubt.  Each time you look at a situation and conclude there can never be a change, each time you doubt what God has said – God does not understand because He does not speak that language.

This country is very blessed. Unfortunately while the insiders are struggling to go outside, many from outside and chasing opportunities within the country. Psalms 32:8 – [I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.] There is a way you desire to go, that will lead you to destruction but if you follow God that will be the right way. This 2017, you need a seeing eye, a hearing ear and to perceive correctly to get everything God has in store for you.

Change your thinking

Verse 3: [Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, “Why stay here until we die?].

This is the starting point. The decision to go forward.

Leprosy is likened now to sin. It is a stigma, you cannot enjoy what other people are enjoying. Though you are in that community, whatever everybody is participating in, the man with leprosy is ostracized.

The first thing that happened to these men is that they thought of something. The process of speaking this language of God starts from your thoughts: your thinking process – your ability to think through things. There are some powerful men of God known to us that have thinking rooms where they sit and think through things, issues and situations. The miracle starts from your thinking: what do you think on? The scripture teaches what and how to think.

Philippians 4:8: [Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.]

You own portion of blessing is waiting for you. But first you must think in line with what the scripture above says. All you have to do is think, and take steps. Many people are still in their jobless situation because they are still waiting, applying. Some others have stepped out and taken initiative, and have bagged jobs.

Learn to discern between noise and voice.

There is so much noise in this world: trending topics, gist and rumors struggle for our minds. Rather, focus on things that lovely, pure, of good report. These are the things that you should think on.

These four men with leprosy knew their limitations. They knew that either way they move to, death is waiting. Yet they made up their minds and decided to go forward.

These men were ready to dare. They were ready to take steps. They were ready to burn bridges. They were ready to go forward despite all. Until you are ready to take bold steps and take initiatives and reach out, you cannot enjoy the full blessing of what God has designed for you.

God does not understand the language of reverse. He understands the process of go forward.

Change your thinking process and make it a progressive one. Our God is big enough to take care of all our needs. He has done that already. All we have to do is move.

Do you know you can buy a 3 million car within a set time period just by saving little by little? If you are waiting for a big bang, for manna, for God to do a miracle, then you will wait for a long time.

You must change your thinking.

Overcome your limitations.

Limitations are what stop you.

A car can be stopped from accelerating simply because the driver’s legs are on the brakes. What have you put on or in as a brake in your life?

Verse 4&5: [They said to each other, “Why stay here until we die? If we say, ‘We’ll go into the city’—the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.” At dusk they got up and went to the camp of the Arameans.]

Stop sitting in one spot – you have stayed on this mountain for too long. We have eaten enough. We have sat down enough. We have dreamed enough. We have been prophesied to enough. It is time to move on.

The four men with leprosy did not dwell on their weakness – on their lack of opportunities, or love or fellowship. They got up, rose up, and took action.

God understands the language of action.

Nehemiah did not cry alone when he heard of the situation of Israel. Mourning and prayer were not all he did. He took action. Steps that got him to his goal. Even when the enemies came to distract him, he was too engaged in his work to be disturbed. When you are not engaged in God’s work, the devil will engage you.

God understands the language of faith.

Faith makes you take action. It makes you move. It makes you dare. It makes you follow through with plans. God understands the language of faith. Don’t go through the entire year sitting and claiming you are praying. The kind of prayer that does not enable you take steps in the right direction, is not correct. The only way you can achieve the heights God has set for you is to take steps to go forward.

When you rise and you speak the language that God understand – the language of faith and action – heaven will naturally open doors.

Immediately the men rose, God showed He had already arranged for them. Immediately they made a move God orchestrated a noise that caused fear amongst the enemies. God had given them victory, all that was necessary for them to move forward.

Verse 8: [The men who had leprosy reached the edge of the camp, entered one of the tents and ate and drank. Then they took silver, gold and clothes, and went off and hid them. They returned and entered another tent and took some things from it and hid them also.]

You are eating and drinking well this year. You don’t need to struggle this year.

Arise.

Stop Sleeping.

It’s time to arise.

It doesn’t matter what other people are seeing or doing. Be like Joshua and Caleb. They made it to the end amidst the noise around them. Moses had a staff, he used it and God blessed it. Samson had a jawbone, Mary had some ointment, David had a sling – all were used by them and blessed by God. What do you have? What are you using for God to bless?

Don’t so focus on what you love to do – that you neglect what needs to be done. Don’t rest on your oars. Don’t rest on your laurels. Don’t fold your arms and neglect what needs to be done for yourself, for the kingdom, for your family.
